Support: Creating Reports from Databases/Hosts

Creating from Citeline (next gen)

Updated October 18, 2018.

In 2018, Informa Citeline introduced a new generation of Pharmaprojects and Trialtrove. With the release of BizInt Smart Charts Drug Development Suite version 5.0, full support is now available for the next generation platform.

Latest Status

1 October 2018:

Exports for Trialtrove and Pharmaprojects are now live.

BizInt Smart Charts Drug Development Suite Version 5.0 adds support for these next generation Pharmaprojects and Trialtrove exports.

Version 5.0 includes updated chart templates for Trialtrove, reflecting the new fields available in the Triatrove exports.

As of 5 September, Pharmaprojects exports include the majority of fields in the database, and we feel that the export is quite usable. The only fields available on the classic Pharmaprojects platform which are not available on the next generation platform are PharmacoKinetics and a few chemistry fields (including structures). These fields are expected to be included in the exports later this year.

New Fields in Trialtrove

The next generation Trialtrove system includes several new fields which are available as columns in BizInt Smart Charts exports:

  • Associated CROs
  • Sponsor Type
  • Regions (for trial locations)
  • Therapeutic Areas
  • Mechanisms of Action
  • Therapeutic Classes
  • Enrollment Duration *
  • Treatment Duration *
  • Enrollment Close Date *
  • Primary Completion Date
  • Patients / Site / Month *

* - these fields are only available with TrialPredict subscriptions

Note that the "Investigators / Contacts" field is no longer available from Trialtrove.

Changes in Pharmaprojects

There were a few changes to the fields available in next generation Pharmaprojects.

Key Clinical Information is now also available as three columns, one each for Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III.

A column was added to indicate Active Development.

A column was added with company details. Company Table includes information about headquarters country and parent company.

Two columns are no longer available: Additional Clinical Information and References.

Step by Step
  1. Logon to your account and conduct your search.
  2. When you are ready to export, click on the Export button (above the results table).

  3. You will be presented with the Export panel. Select the "BizInt Smart Charts" option, then click Continue.

  4. Your download will start. Your browser may ask whether you want to save or open the file. We generally recommend that you Save the file so you can re-import it at a later date if necessary.
The file will have a .TTCD file extension.
If you open the file, it should launch directly in BizInt Smart Charts Drug Development Suite. You can also import the file, or drag and drop the file into a running copy of BizInt Smart Charts.
