Creating IP Reports Integrating Sequence, Family and Hit Structure Data with BizInt Smart Charts for Patents

Workshop Description
BizInt Solutions is pleased to offer a workshop in conjunction with the PIUG 2018 Annual Conference.
In this workshop we will show how to use BizInt Smart Charts for Patents to create reports from structure searches on both Classic and new STN, and from sequence searches on GenomeQuest.
From there, we'll use BizInt Smart Charts Reference Rows to build a report integrating both sequence and hit structure results with value-added content from patent family databases on Patbase and Orbit.
We will explore ways to combine sequence, structure, and keyword searches, augment sequence results with bibliographic data for the patent family, and how best to visualize the data provided by these two types of results.
This workshop is for both current users of BizInt Smart Charts and for those interested in learning more about using BizInt Smart Charts with hit structures and IP sequence data.
The workshop is free. BizInt and GQ Life Sciences are sponsoring lunch for attendees between our workshops.
Workshop Presenter
John Willmore is co-founder of BizInt Solutions Inc., and manages the development of all aspects of the BizInt Smart Charts product line. John has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and over 25 years experience in software development. Outside of work, John plays ice hockey and enjoys training and competing with his longhaired dachshunds.
