Workshop Description
BizInt Solutions is pleased to offer a workshop in conjunction with the PIUG 2018 Biotechnology Conference
In this workshop we will show how to use BizInt Smart Charts for Patents to create reports from sequence searches on GenomeQuest and STN, and to create reports from structure searches on STN.
From there, we'll use BizInt Smart Charts Reference Rows to build a report integrating both sequence and hit structure results with value-added content from patent family databases.
We will explore ways to combine sequence, structure, and keyword searches, augment sequence results with bibliographic data for the patent family, and how best to visualize the data provided by these two types of results.
As always, we'll keep you up to date on other developments in the BizInt Smart Charts product line -- including BizInt Smart Charts for Patents and VantagePoint - Smart Charts Edition.
This workshop is for both current users of BizInt Smart Charts and VantagePoint and others interested in new tools for analysis and presentation of IP information.
The workshop is free.
Workshop Presenter
John Willmore is co-founder of BizInt Solutions Inc., and manages the development of all aspects of the BizInt Smart Charts product line. John has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and over 20 years of experience developing software to work with patent and IP sequence data. Outside of work, John plays ice hockey and enjoys training and competing with his longhaired dachshunds.
